Paul Smith‘s Los Angeles retail hotspot – a.k.a the infamous Instagrammable pink wall right along the heart of Melrose – has gotten a full facelift. With the intention of crafting a more immersive retail experience at the forefront and the expertise of LA-based design studio Standard Architecture, fear not, Paul Smith’s revamped interior is still as lively and vibrant as it was before.
Architects wanted to create separately sanctioned yet still aesthetically cohesive corners for each Paul Smith department – women’s, men’s and home. The use of warm stone-clad partition walls not only functionally divides the store into these sections, but also fosters a cozy, intimate vibe. Guests can now enter through a striking red metal entrance tunnel, or the newly added VIP entrance patio was added as well, elevating the atmosphere of the serene space even more.
